Wengie (Wendy Ayche) a famous Chinese-Australian Youtuber based in Australia, California (Los Angles), and China, with over 14 million subscribers to date (December 2019). She creates content such as viral videos and pranks, to creating DIY (Do-It-Yourself) projects, beauty, makeup, and music videos. In 2017, her Youtube channel received the “Best Channel” and “Overall Winner” awards during the Australian Online Video Awards. With the creation of her second channel “WengieVlogs”, it has reached almost 2 million subscribers with over 52 million views. Already reaching millions of views from her original videos, she has become a K-pop singer and performer. Although less commonly known internationally, Wengie has had success in China for many singles and albums working with many worldwide known performers and musicians for over half a decade. Her previous songs with Chinese and English lyrics has reached millions of views and downloads, with her most popular song “Oh I Do” with 9 million views in of 2017. Also, due to her popularity she became a voice actor for the well-known cartoon series “The Powerpuff Girls” movie. Throughout all her success she currently has become a famous K-pop singer. Collaborating with Minnie of the popular South Korean K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE, to create a remix of the song “Empire”, Wengie’s popularity has skyrocketed. Her collaboration video has put her on the top of the Billboard Music Charts, reaching #22 for the Billboard World Digital Song Sales from debut. This has given both Minnie and Wengie a spot for the first ever single entry onto the charts. In addition, her single has received over one million streams on the popular music streaming app and website Spotify in less than one month. Currently she is in the process of creating a toy line for her fanbase such as unicorn body and hair kits.
