The idea to bring different companies from different sectors together originated after Scott Dylan realized the importance of collaboration and sharing of top-level functions such as marketing, human resource, business development and finance. Scott’s interest in entrepreneurship started in school where he undertook his first business of fixing headphones instead of having them replaced. Scott Dylan realized that replacing was more expensive than fixing and decided to offer the service to the school at a considerable charge of £15. After school, Scott worked in different sectors, including logistics, creative digital businesses, and music industries, where he got a lot of experience. He uses the knowledge acquired over the years to help a start-up grow.
When Scott founded the Fresh Thinking Group, he anticipated the company to become a private equity disruptor that will invest in struggling companies and help them with strategic support. Currently, the company has expanded and has offices in Leeds, London, and Manchester. The Group has already acquired Laundrapp, Brass, GLB Transport, Cuhu, Neon, ParcelWise, and Prospect Business Centers. Scott is proud to have successfully funded Caribou, a parcel delivery company, and Inc & Co Group, a fast-growing acquisition firm.
Scott Dylan is an active member of the Forbes Business Council. During his free time, Scott loves travelling and adventuring across the globe. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manchester. Scott also has an honorary Bachelor of Law from the Open University. His accomplishes over the years have seen him get numerous awards such as 2013, 2014, and 2015 Institute Digital Marketing Awards.
