In a recent development, SF Giants CEO, Larry Baer, is looking to reopen Oracle Park and have fans in attendance. This will all be in accordance with guidelines by the city of San Francisco. Larry Baer stated it will come down to what health officials deem, however, the SF Giants CEO believes they can pull it off in 2021. He also explained there will be safety measures in place to keep people safe by the health officials through an accumulated 7-figure budget. The San Francisco Giants CEO manages and controls the daily functioning of the organization.

He also directed the construction of T & AT Park which is the main league ballpark that has since then gained an overwhelming reputation. From 2000- 2007, this club has acknowledged unparalleled fan support and went beyond the three million in attendance.

The Giants CEO is closely monitoring what is going on during the pandemic. Larry Baer states they still have a lot of work to do. One of the reasons for being able to bring fans back is due to more and more people being vaccinated, as described in a letter to fans from the SF Giants CEO.

As the vaccine becomes more readily available, things will get better, according to him. Some of the new safety standards are sanitation practices and testing for all staff. There are also planning to use an app to screen people in attendance at the ballpark. Some of the other commonplace rules will be a mask requirement and social distancing followed by the standard entrance and exit procedures. MLB fans will be able to purchase food, but through an app to minimize movement.

The SF Giants CEO confirms season ticket holders will get more leeway when it comes to choosing dates. As required by guidelines, social distancing will be enforced with limited seating.

The season is still over a month away with the SF Giants season opener on April 1 followed by the home game on April 9. It is still unsure if fans will be able to attend by that time. Lastly, the Giants CEO states there is still time left to address these questions and believes they can still have a solid fan experience at games even with the enforced protocols.
