James Dondero Partners with Linda Own To Scale Highlands Capital Charitable Giving
James Dondero, the founder of Highlands Capital, has partnered with Linda Owen, a renowned Dallas civic leader to offer strategic direction on Highlands Capital charitable programs.
He joins the Highlands Capital as a charitable manager and will work in partnership with the Dallas Foundation. James Dondero points out that having expanded their philanthropic initiatives, they believe that it’s time to work with a professional to make sure that the company’s contribution makes a significant impact.
James Dondero points out that the Linda has proved to form effective public-private partnerships and also shares in the Highlands Capital vision of making a difference in the community. Highland Capital contributes over three million dollars every year to various charity organizations through the Dallas Foundation. The charity drive is designed to help in the various healthcare, education, and veteran causes within the Dallas community.

When he served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation, Linda was in charge of developing the Klyde Warren Park, a project that was completed in 2012. Before joining the company, she served as the CEO and president of The Real Estate Council. Linda Owen holds an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Texas.
