Andrew Alexander is a prominent comedian, writer, and producer based in the American City of Chicago. He studied business at the Try-State and Ryerson Universities. The 77-year-old is the founder of Second City Organization and served as the CEO for over 45 years. Mr. Andrew hails from the UK but relocated to Canada in 1951. After relocation, he became in charge of the Second City Toronto in 1974. Around ten years later, the top renowned producer purchased Second City Chicago. During his tenure as the organization’s CEO, Andrew Alexander worked tirelessly to make it one of the greatest comedy empires in the world. Through Andrew Alexander’s leadership, the organization improved the status of comedy in the greater North American region. During his career journey, Mr. Andrew interacted and collaborated with many prominent Canadian Comedians. These comics included John Candy and Eugene Levi, among others.

They worked together on various productions, which were very successful. Due to his exceptional writing skills, Andrew Alexander developed programs for various networks, including Comedy Central, ABC, Showtime, and Fox. Besides creating programs, Alexander worked on several TV projects and films.
