Awards and Nominations Won By Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer (Duda Melzer)
Duda Melzer has been successful in the business world and has won a number of nominations and categories in different sectors. He is the chief executive officer at EB Capital, private equity and venture capital firm that he founded in 2017. The company focuses on the growth of investment and long-term value in the middle market.
Duda Melzer is also the founder of E. Bricks Ventures, the largest venture capital company in Brazil that deals with early-stage technology companies, which was launched in 2012. He currently serves at Grupo RBS, a major media firm in South America. He has worked at the company since 2004 and has consistently risen through the ranks to the top-tier.
Nominations and Awards
In 2009, Duda Melzer got the Brazilian Advertising Association (ABP), ‘Professional Highlight,’ in the category of Vehicle Executive. He also received an award in the Marketing Management/ Communication/ Communication Group from the Coletiva.net portal in 2011.
In 2013, he was awarded by APP Communication Week as the ‘Communication Entrepreneur of the Year,’ and in 2015, he won the Private Sector category ‘Merit in Administration.’ In the same year, Duda Melzer received the Entrepreneur of the Year award from Ernst and Young in the Family Business category.
He also featured on the CFEG (Cambridge Family Enterprise Group) list of leaders in 2015. Every year, CFEG brings together twenty-five of modern business families across the globe who are successful business people and are considered as role models to the community. In 2017, Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer got a nomination for the ’17 Next Generation Family Business Leaders to follow up on 2017′ from CFEG.

Melzer has a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from PUC and Harvard Business School, respectively. He believes that he has become successful in business by surrounding himself with a trustworthy team of experienced individuals as well as by delegating some of the hardest tasks.
His day involves working out in the morning, going to work and going back home to spend some quality time with his family. His balance between all these three aspects of his life is also what makes him successful.
