Famous Indian Born Entrepreneur – Sudhir Choudhrie
Sudhir Choudhrie is a very famous Indian born entrepreneur. He has faced many struggles during his life and also had to overcome many obstacles. His success journey is a truly marvelous one. Sudhir was born in India in 1949. His father died when Sudhir was only a little boy and he was then raised by her mother alone. Sudhir completed his bachelor’s in economics from the University of Delhi. After completing his graduation, his grandfather asked him to join the family business but he wanted to start his own company which he later did. The name of his company is Magnum International Trading Company and it was launched in 1975.
Sudhir Choudhrie is also an excellent investor. He has invested in many companies and he managed to make a profit from all his investments skills. He started a venture with Taj Resorts which resulted in the formation of Taj Kerala and four other local resorts. The venture was a very successful one. In the same year, Sudhir decided to form a successful business partnership with Adidas AG and together they started the company Adidas Indian Trading Company. The main purpose of the company was to make the brand Adidas popular to the people of India which they were able to do successfully. Sudhir also invested in Air Deccan which is the first budget airline in India in 2003. Air Deccan started with only one airplane but in 5 years because of their excellent service they were carrying 7 million passengers on a daily basis.
Sudhir Choudhrie later on his life moved to the United Kingdom. He became a British citizen in 2010. Sudhir is now living a happy life in the United Kingdom with his family. He also worked in the company C & C Alpha Group as the Vice-Chairman which was located in the United Kingdom. He was responsible for the expansion of the company as he made many important partnerships happen. Sudhir Choudhrie is also a renowned philanthropist.
