Greg Blatt and His Drive to Become One of the Successful Leader in the Law Industry
Great leaders in every successful and well-grounded company can enhance the creation of brand messaging, use their expertise to bring about positive change, and dictate growth trajectory rates. One such leader who is actively involved in the business is Greg Blatt, who is the former CEO of the online dating sites, Tinder and Match Group. The leader has played several roles throughout his career and has been able to grow in business and succeed in his career.
Greg Blatt is a graduate of Colgate University. After graduation, he did not have the drive to pursue a career in his field of study. Greg, therefore, decided to venture out across different countries, to find his passion in life. He worked several odd jobs in certain countries such as France, Budapest, Colorado, San Francisco, and Telluride. Greg was a bartender, painter, and waiter for several years before joining Columbia University Law School. At the university, he was interested in pursuing corporate law, and he was positive that he was taking the right course in life. After graduating from the Law School, Blatt joined the New York City law firm known as Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, to work in the Mergers and Acquisition sector.
After working in the M&A sector for a while, Greg Blatt realized that he needed to explore his creative side. He, therefore, went ahead and sought employment at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc. In this law firm, Greg was the General Counsel and the Executive Vice President for a while before taking on a new role as the Business Affairs Officer in 2001. Shortly after, Greg received an appointment from IAC, where he was the Executive Vice President and General Counsel for six years. Before joining Match Group and Tinder to work as their CEO, Greg Blatt would later take on the role of the CEO at IAC.
