Heath Ritenour is an industrious individual, who grew up watching his father build a business ground up. This lit a spark for him, making Heath Ritenour interested in the insurance industry. At an early age, the business executive pursued his passion for the family business seeking to accumulate enough expertise in the field to propel the business to greater heights.
His ambitions would see Heath Ritenour become the CEO of Insurance Office America, a company started by his father, formerly known as Insurance Office of Florida. Heath’s father, John Ritenour, started the company in Florida shortly after the birth of Heath. He gained knowledge and exposure to the field by selling an insurance policy to people as a part-time job got him interested in the business. He later carried out research within professional circles learning more about insurance before venturing into his own business.
Heath Ritenour is a Business Administration graduate from Liberty University. Having interned at the insurance firm during his studies, he was able to grasp the workings of the business. Under his father’s mentorship, Heath was able to develop a deeper interest in the business, learning to connect with clients. Toward retirement, John Ritenour suggested Heath as a replacement for both the Chairman and CEO position, a step Heath was adamant about not taking for a while.
Heath Ritenour is a spiritual man, who sought spiritual guidance as well as worked harder in order to earn the position. Taking on the reigns of the company in 2007, Heath Ritenour tasked himself to see the company grow, adapting to the ever dynamic business world.
Adapting swiftly to his leadership role, Heath Ritenour has been able to maintain a busy schedule balancing work and family; he is married to Abby with two children. Heath Ritenour puts efforts in continuing the company’s traditions, and puts his clients’ needs first, offering them the very best his company has to offer. His business approach focuses on bettering the lives of the people around them as well as their clients.
