The beauty and cosmetics industry sales and marketing executive has most of the time worked from Paris where he has coordinated the sales and marketing activities of L’Oreal across Europe and Asia. He has also worked and lived in nations such as Germany, Canada, Latvia, the U.S, France, and Romania. Mr. Nicolas Krafft has worked with L’Oreal for over one decade. He has helped in building its regional presence across the three major continents of Asia, Europe, and America. The Swiss-born native has driven the sales, expanded the market growth, led the research of new brands, and defined the market entry strategies for the company in Paris and across the globe. He has led most of his business operations while in Paris, France. But he has on some occasions moved in and out of Paris when after getting new assignments abroad.

When asked about his daily activities, Mr. Nicolas Krafft stated that he starts his day early and ensures that he sticks to a tight schedule that prioritizes meetings and activities of utmost importance to avoid wasting time. Nicolas believes that starting the day early and engaging in activities that have been well-scheduled reduces time wastage and improves productivity at work. He also likes to stay up-to-date on industry news and business communication. As such, he checks his mail and makes replies every morning before checking up on the latest industry and market news. As the day progresses, Mr. Nicolas Krafft L’oreal also creates some off time in which he concentrates on conceptualizing new business ideas and improving his creativity.
On creativity, Mr. Nicolas Krafft states that he improves his creative abilities by interacting with teams of employees. He believes that it’s through such collaborative conversations that new ideas get discovered and nurtured to fruitful business ideas. But he holds that it’s important to focus on the essentials to avoid wasting time. Mr. Krafft advises young business executives and entrepreneurs to stay calm and resilient while under pressure. He also advises them to take every mistake as a chance to learn and start afresh.
