Niranjan Shah Has an Impressive Work Portfolio and Giving Back Is His Top Priority
Dedication, intelligence, and a strong support system have all played key roles in helping Niranjan Shah enjoy success. He is from a small village in India. He attended the Sardar Patel University and received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1967.
While that would have been impressive enough for anyone from his small town, Niranjan Shah did not stop there. He went on to the University of Mississippi after receiving a full scholarship. He earned his master’s degree in 1971. After that, he went to the Harvard Business School.

Niranjan Shah did not have what many Westerners would consider basic necessities while growing up, like running water or electricity. However, he did have intelligence and a willingness to work hard. He also was raised in a supportive community.
While there is much to be said about his professional success, this soft-spoken and humble man would prefer to spend his time with his wife and two children.
In 1974, Niranjan Shah founded a consulting firm. Globetrotters Engineering Corporation has an impressive portfolio. For example, they designed and oversaw the construction of terminal five at O’Hare Airport in Chicago. They are also responsible for the Chicago’s Deep Tunnel Project. They received an award from the American Society of Civil Engineers for this project.
The company is also responsible for research that was foundational in different branches of the US government. It also equipped consulting centers in various countries, including Costa Rica, the Ivory Coast, and Nigeria.
There’s no doubt that Niranjan Shah Chicago has enjoyed great success through Globetrotters Engineering Corporation.
While it can be easy to become consumed with the excitement and stress that comes from running a major corporation, Niranjan Shah has never forgotten about giving back. No matter how much success he has enjoyed, philanthropy has always been his top priority.
Niranjan Shah has made contributions to various communities in the United States and India. For example, he made sure that there was a medical clinic and a high school in the village he came from. He also gave support that would help other small villages in India.
Niranjan Shah has spent time with many US presidents, including President Clinton, President Reagan, and President Bush.
He has also been invited to speak with various government leaders. He consistently uses his influence and connections to rally support for initiatives that would improve the lives of those living in India.

Niranjan Shah is the founder and chief executive officer of Globetrotters Engineering Corporation where he leads a team of over 250 professionals.
