On June 21st, 2018 the organization NumbersUSA favored a house immigration bill backed by Virginia republican Bob Goodlatte which aimed to get rid of family-based visas and government mandated use of an E-Verify system for employers. That bill failed, but NumbersUSA is continuing to push controversial topics to the forefront in Washington D.C. with the help of Roy Beck and the 7 million plus Facebook followers it has.
The organization, NumbersUSA, sees its message spread widely and for free due to its huge following on Facebook. Since 2006 it has grown its Facebook following to huge numbers, well over 7 million likes- which allow the organization to put out content that Facebook helps to circulate to the masses without spending a dime on paid advertising. All while bringing in significant revenue and interest to keep the organization fighting on the front lines in Washington D.C. at Capitol Hill- constantly letting lawmakers and congresspeople it is watching.
NumbersUSA regularly sends out action alerts to its more than 9 million total followers across all social media which allow its supporters to take action in its fight to regulate immigration.
