Pam Baer Has Dedicated Her Life To Charity
When it comes to community developments and charity, Pam Baer is always on the frontline. For many years now, she has continued to support several charitable organizations. She is lucky to have these values installed in her life at a very young age.
She vividly remembers how her parents used to donate basic needs like clothing and food to the needy. At one point in life, she volunteered to be a Sunday school teacher to educate the little ones on the need of giving. Pam took these acts of generosity to another level when she founded For Goodness Sake.
For Goodness Sake is an E-commerce site that presents locally made products for the community to buy. Local artisans make the products from recycled materials. This is a great business idea because it is environmentally friendly and offers employment opportunities to many people. From the goods sold, the foundation gives a certain percentage to charity. Pam Baer believes through giving; we bless and show love to other people. She always remembers her grandmother, who was the inspiration behind the For Goodness Sake. She was loving and full of life who wanted nothing but the best for her granddaughter. That’s why she kept telling pam to do something of her own.
One of the partners working closely with pam Baer is San Francisco General Hospital Foundation (SFGHF). For some years, Pamela Baer has continued to show them love and support. It all started back in 2001 when the doctors saved her son’s life.
The boy was involved in an accident through a plate glass door, but the doctors did their job well because the boy has recovered. He even plays sports. According to Pam, this act opened her eyes. Although the incident was very painful, she learned a lot, and she will be forever grateful.
