Terranova Corp Plan To Invest In Coral Gables
Ever since it was revamped, Miracle Mile in Coral Gables has attracted the interest of real estate investors. Most notably, Stephen Bittel and his company, Terranova Corp.
The company has already submitted a proposal for a multi-million-dollar hotel and retail project at 220 Miracle Mile. The Coral Gables Development Review Committee is supposed to review the proposal on July 26 and decide whether or not Stephen can begin his project.
According to the proposal, the property will be a seven-storey building, with the ground floor being set aside for retail space. Altogether, the property will have 28,000 square feet of commercial space. At the roof top, there will be an additional 3,915 square feet of space which will have a bar, restaurant, and a pool deck.
On the second floor, there will be a meeting space. Hotel rooms will cover the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh floors. The entire project is estimated to cost around $20 million. See This Article for additional information.
Stephen Bittel is the man behind the major project, was born in Miami and has always taken part in the development of his community. He graduated top of his class from Bowdoin College in 1978. He later went to on pursue his law degree from the University of Miami.
He has been a member of numerous Miami community organizations. At the moment, he is on the advisory board of Teach for America Miami. He founded Terranova Corp. in 1980 after graduating from law school. His company manages commercial real estate properties in South Florida.
